After starting my Social Media journey about 5 months ago, I am still stuck at almost no progress even though I have regularly posted things on X (Twitter). My follower count is not growing much, except some random followers with a picture of a beautiful woman and absolutely no tweets. I think those are fake bot accounts that somehow exist out there for no good purpose.

I think that the online world is very saturated now and to make it to become an influencer is very hard without a good strategy. It is not like when Twitter just first started and it was easy to get a big following just by tweeting regularly on ordinary topics – now its a whole different ball game. People are tweeting extreme videos and opinions at an astounding rate just to get noticed. And these extreme videos is not something anyone would normally encounter often in life.

In the meantime, while not having much success with X, I am starting my online shop that sells t-shirts. I have always been passionate about cool designs and often wanted to start such a business, but never got to it. Now I have summoned my strength and determination and have setup a store. My motivation is to provide people with inspiring, uplifting designs on a good quality material (cotton mostly).
After starting my t-shirt store, I would need to promote it and make some marketing. Besides paid advertisement, I would like to promote it on Youtube, X, Instagram, Pinterest, Blog and other Social Media channels. The key idea is to link X profile to the online shop for visibility. If the products are getting good traction and there are lots of visitors to the shop, then it also drives your Social Media presence up because all of these sites are interconnected with your profile.
After creating an online shop, its key to actively promote it online by regularly writing tweets, blogs, photos, videos about its products and its mission – and that’s a hard part! But like the saying goes “no pain – no gain!” You have to work hard to get success.
In the next blog posts, I will write how I am setting up an online shop and how it is progressing. So stay tuned!
